On September 27, 2023—my 50th birthday—I made a bold decision and tendered my resignation after 23 years of service with the federal government. Having sold most of my belongings and given away the rest, I created a list of places I longed to explore. With my family and friends' well wishes, I embraced a new chapter: a life of slow travel and discovery. No rush, no deadlines—just the world and all its wonders, one adventure at a time.

I’ve been traveling for as long as I can remember. My parents made sure we explored new places every chance we had, and as a military brat, constant change became second nature. Moving to a new city, meeting new people, and adapting to different cultures was simply a way of life.
My dad documented everything with his camera—just like I do now. It’s in my blood. This nomadic lifestyle isn’t just something I do; it’s who I am. And while I may make it look effortless, it’s not for the faint of heart. It takes preparation, resilience, and a deep love for the journey.
This life is something I’ve always dreamed of, and now, I’m living it—with gratitude every step of the way.
